Job Title: Operations and Sales Specialist 

Job Description:

  • Directly manage the critical daily store back of house operations that include but are not limited to: inventory control, product shipping and receiving, web order fulfillment, customization logistics, store maintenance, supply orders, etc. 
  • Responsible for providing best in class customer service and driving sales. Must maintain a strong presence on the sales floor and lead by example. 
  • Must be able to prioritize and balance back of house operations and front of house sales based on business needs and seamlessly pivot between the two areas of business. 
  • Act as the communication liaison between Miron Crosby studio locations in a way that allows for a successful partnership. Communicate information on the tracking of products and transfers. Communicate when custom or wishlist customer communication has taken place. 
  • Monitor studio Slack channels. 
  • Manage in-store inventory and equipment. Ensure adequate inventory onsite. 
  • Lead the processing of all shipments (sent + received) and inventory management. 
  • Perform inventory quality control. 
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts. 
  • Conduct weekly reviews of approval reports. 
  • Fulfill e-commerce orders daily. 
  • Own Houston studio custom order process. Prepare and submit all custom orders to the production manager. Manage customer communication throughout the custom order process by answering questions and keeping the customer apprised of the production timeline and any order updates. 
  • Manage a system and the communication with customers regarding holds, wishlist items, presale purchases, monogrammed pieces, and custom orders. 
  • Manage factory customization and bulk packaging. 
  • Order all supplies and marketing materials for Houston studio. 
  • Ensure the sales floor and back of house is clean, well-maintained and organized. 
  • Manage studio upkeep. Handle any store repairs and the cleaning schedule. 
  • Troubleshoot any technology or hardware issues. 
  • Hold team accountable for having a strong understanding of operational policies and procedures. 
  • Identify and analyze problems, and offer solutions that produce positive results. 
  • Assist the Miron Crosby customer and guests with their needs throughout the store. 
  • Develop customer relationships by consistently delivering high levels of customer service as a boot expert and store representative. 
  • Communicate company values and brand philosophy to all customers. 
  • Create a client database and manage customer follow-up. 
  • Provide best in class customer service through customer appointments for individualized design consultations
  • Assist Store Manager as needed. 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of previous retail operations experience required. 
  • Previous high-end retail experience preferred. 
  • Results driven individual that is self-motivated and extremely detail oriented. 
  • Growth mindset and desire to learn and challenge status quo and implement new ideas and processes. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude under pressure. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills is a must. 
  • Clear, professional communication skills is a must. 
  • A strong ability to build cross-functional partnerships and work collaboratively. 
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.

  • Must be able to work a full-time flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends as needed). 
  • Technology savvy. 
  • Familiarity with Shopify preferred. 
  • Some heavy lifting required.
